We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Administrative Assistant to join our team. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Town Administrator and the Select Board. The duties including maintatining communication throughout the Town to ensure websites and social media are updated with accurate information. That departments, boards and committees are informed of accurate information and that information is up to date in accordance with Town Policy. The Administrative Assistant will maintain day to day office operations to include records and compliance, TA and Select Board support, finanical and administrative support, along with many other duties. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills with knowledge of maintaining websites, public communications an understanding of municipal government.
Qualifications:
Three - Five years of administrative experience preferably in municipal government Experience with websites and public communication Associates or bachelors in communications or related field preferred Knowledge of functions of municipal government Knowledge of Local, State and Federal laws Knowledge of public relations and commuications practices. Previous experience as an administrative assistant in a municipal setting or equivalent experience and education. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge and skill using Microsoft Office applications, website content management systems, social media platforms, email marketing platforms and basic graphic design software. Excellent organization and time management skills Ability to exercise discretion and maintaining confidentiality.

Hourly rate:
$24.07/hr - $26.57/hr dependent on qualifications and experience.
