2992008721-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Amazon is seeking a Senior Site EHS Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety programs across high-volume retail and fulfillment operations. In this role, you will design and execute EHS strategy, ensure OSHA and local regulatory compliance, and champion a strong safety culture in a fast-paced, customer-obsessed environment. You will own risk assessments, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives, using data to prioritize actions and influence leaders. Partnering with operations, facilities, and HR, you will embed safety into daily workflows, lead training and emergency preparedness, and scale best practices across multiple sites. Responsibilities Lead EHS strategy for multiple Amazon retail and fulfillment sites, ensuring compliance with OSHA and local regulations Develop, implement, and audit safety, health, and environmental programs and procedures Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and root-cause analyses; implement corrective actions Track, analyze, and report EHS metrics to leadership; drive continuous improvement initiatives Train and coach leaders and associates on EHS standards, safe work practices, and emergency response Partner with operations, facilities, and HR to integrate EHS into daily workflows and projects Manage regulatory inspections, documentation, and required permits and reporting Lead emergency preparedness planning, drills, and incident response coordination Drive safety culture initiatives that promote hazard reporting and employee engagement Collaborate cross-functionally on ergonomic, industrial hygiene, and environmental impact initiatives Required Skills Occupational safety and health regulations (OSHA, EPA) Risk assessment and hazard analysis Incident investigation and root-cause analysis EHS management systems (ISO 45001/14001 or similar) Data analysis and EHS metrics reporting Emergency preparedness and response planning Ergonomics and industrial hygiene fundamentals Regulatory inspection and audit management Training design and delivery for EHS topics Cross-functional stakeholder and leadership communication
