Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY
The purpose of this job is to be responsible for planning, directing, implementing, and evaluating public health programs that prevent disease, promote healthy lifestyles, and reduce health disparities throughout the community. Leads a team of public health professionals and collaborates with community partners to develop and advance effective health initiatives, education campaigns, and prevention services. Utilizes data analysis, forecasting, and evidence-based prevention strategies to improve population health outcomes, strengthen community engagement, and ensure program effectiveness
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & division management: Provides leadership and oversight of division operations, including strategic planning, time and resource management, budget administration, performance monitoring, program evaluation, continuous improvement, and collaboration with community stakeholders. Community health assessment improvement planning & population health; Leads community health assessment, improvement planning, and population health strategies through strategic leadership, effective communication, sound decision-making, collaboration, emotional intelligence, and team development. Data collection and evaluation, collects, manages, and analyzes data to evaluate program performance, informs decision-making, and drives continuous quality improvement. Grant writing and resource development, develop grant proposals and secures funding through research, needs assessments, strategic planning, project management, and ongoing evaluation of program outcomes. Perform related work as required It is expected that the employee can perform these functions on a regular and recurring basis.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education and Experience Graduate degree from an accredited college or university in Public Administration or Public Health or a related field 5 to 7 years of related work experience in public health, communications, education, epidemiology, health promotions/disease prevention or wellness. Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities
