We are looking for a professional, organized, and fun Services Director to run our McCarron's site. As a Services Director, some of the things you will be involved in include: supervising staff, including scheduling, performance, and disciplinary action planning and implementing daily activities including community integration making admission decisions for referrals based upon client assessments overseeing 245D licensing requirements ensuring the health and safety of the persons served providing administrative and operational oversight You are the perfect match if you are outgoing, have strong organizational skills, remain calm under pressure, have at least 3 years of supervisory experience, and can meet the Designated Director qualifications. You'll also need excellent leadership, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution skills, along with patience and empathy. Our Services Directors must coordinate an extraordinary amount of detail on a daily basis

Services Director Qualifications and Skills:

MUST HAVES

The Services Director must minimally have: 1. Bachelor's degree in a field related to human services, and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older 2. Associate degree in a field related to human services, and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older 3. Diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older OR 4. Minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities and four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older (call us if you have questions about what qualifies!) Additional skills: High school diploma with at least 4 years of related experience plus 50 hours of education and training is required; related Bachelor's degree is preferred Enthusiasm and desire to help others Great attitude and calm demeanor At least 3 years supervisory experience At least 2 years of experience working in field of developmental disabilities (must meet the minimum qualifications above) Ability to work independently and take initiative Create and manage your own schedule around responsibilities Problem solve and adapt to each situation Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Valid driver's license with good driving record - must drive persons served to businesses and volunteer opportunities Ability to pass DHS Background Study Dependable/ reliable transportation Able to lift and move up to 40 pounds

In addition, this position also receives a $200 longevity bonus at 1 year of successful employment, for a total of $2200 in bonuses within your 1st year.
