Emergency Youth Shelter Director — Full Time Position I'm Here 4 You Foundation | St. Louis County, Missouri I'm Here 4 You Foundation is seeking a full-time Director for a small, six-bed emergency shelter serving children and youth. Our setting is organized and intentionally small, giving the Director the opportunity to know the program, staff, and records closely. The Director's primary focus will be keeping the facility in compliance and ensuring required paperwork stays accurate and current. This is a hands-on leadership role with a manageable facility size and a clear focus on safe, dependable operations.

Responsibilities include:

Oversee day-to-day operations and help maintain compliance with applicable licensing requirements and agency policies. Keep resident, personnel, training, incident, and other required records complete, organized, and up to date. Review documentation, track deadlines, and prepare for licensing visits and inspections. Support staff supervision, scheduling, training follow-up, and clear communication. Coordinate with the founder, licensing staff, caseworkers, and other partners as needed. Address concerns promptly and help maintain a safe, supportive environment for the youth in our care. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable with documentation, and experienced in supervising child-serving programs. This is a full-time position at a small facility. Compensation and start date will be discussed during the hiring process.

Pay:

$40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
