Affordable Housing / Real Estate About the Role A well-established NYC real estate organization is seeking a Leasing Specialist to support leasing operations across three affordable housing communities in Jamaica, Queens. The role will assist with applications, tenant documentation, move-ins/move-outs, compliance, and leasing activities while supporting multiple onsite property management teams. The three properties are approximately 15 minutes apart, with the home base located in Jamaica, Queens. Responsibilities Process affordable housing applications and intake documentation Prepare landlord packets and voucher documentation Work with NYCHA and HPD Coordinate move-ins and move-outs Conduct apartment tours Complete annual and interim recertifications Maintain accurate, audit-ready tenant files Support affordable housing compliance and Fair Housing requirements Assist Property Managers and Assistant Community Managers Travel between three nearby Queens properties as needed Qualifications 2+ years of affordable housing leasing experience 2+ years of Yardi experience Experience with NYCHA, HPD, vouchers, landlord packets, and affordable housing compliance Tax credit property experience preferred Experience with annual and interim recertifications Strong organization, communication, and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple priorities independently Comfortable traveling between three nearby Queens properties Why Join?
