A Fiscal Director or Budget Director manages the budget and finance department of government agencies or cities. They manage the operations of the budget and finance department; including leading analysts and staff. They review and make recommendations on budget requests and options in terms of policy, programs and objectives for the agency or city while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, regulations and statutes. They are responsible for the accumulation of data to support the development of financial analysis and budgeting, including the preparation of quarterly, monthly and annual financial performance measures.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Lead balancing of the NNL Workforce Ceiling across the 8-year budget period. Provide insight into potential solutions on workforce challenges across the Program. Organize and effectively communicate input and feedback from wide range of stakeholders. Oversee the FPB Unit's submittal of documents relating to Workforce for the Naval Reactors Technical/Budget Plan. Lead adhoc requests relating to workforce from government or senior leadership that require the FPB Unit's support. Lead other deliverables that the FPB Unit oversees such as the Continuing Resolution Plan. Provide backup support and surge capacity for employees within the FPB Unit. Keep management informed of progress and challenges, providing concise updates on overarching deliverables related to workforce and other responsibilities. Administer and adhere to policies, processes, and procedures, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and requirements. Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Preferred Skills Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting. Experience with managing workforce/staffing budgets Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills, including experience collaborating across locations. Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, plan work, and adapt to changing circumstances. Effective oral and written communication skills, such as developing and delivering presentations and engaging with a diverse group stakeholders. Pay Range $70,900.00 - $108,500.00 annually Salary information provided is a general guideline only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
