We provide business development, administrative and program management, Human Resources (HR) support, and communication services to federal, state, and local government organizations. Job Overview StonePeake's Business Solutions Group is recruiting for a Human Resources Manager (Career Development & Talent Architect). Please note:
This position is contingent upon the award of a contract. Employment is dependent on the successful securing of the contract. Compensation Varies depending on Candidate Qualifications. This is a contract/1099 position that is expected to last for 1 year. Worksite is in Accomack County, VA. Some telework may be permitted.

Roles & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a strategic thinker to design and implement a comprehensive career progression framework that aligns organizational talent with long-term business objectives. This role will assess current and future workforce needs, define clear career paths, and establish the infrastructure needed to develop, retain, and advance a multi-disciplined workforce. Assess organizational talent needs by evaluating strategic office goals and the impact of specific workforce gaps to understand what skills and roles are needed today and will be needed in the future. Evaluate job positions, hierarchies, and competencies. Design structured (traditional and alternative) career paths, including potential vertical (promotions) and lateral (sideways) movements. Create career levels and criteria by identifying the required skills, experience, and performance metrics needed for advancement. Design career progression frameworks that align with organizational objectives. Develop a strategy for employee development and business growth. Identify learning and development programs, such as training, certifications, mentorship, and on-the-job opportunities, to enable employee growth. Develop retention incentives for a multi-disciplined workforce of varying management/employee levels. Develop communication plan to ensure the success of the new career advancement framework. Establish transparent criteria for employee promotions and development opportunities. Create road maps for employees to pursue long-term careers.
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field of study. SHRM-CP or
SHRM-SCP
certification. Experience developing retention incentives for a multi-disciplined workforce of varying management/employee levels. Extensive experience in Compensation and Classification. Experience implementing Career Development Plans across a multi-disciplined workforce. Experience developing tools and training tailored to varying management/employee levels to use career advancement techniques effectively. Experience designing structured (traditional and alternative) career paths, including potential vertical (promotions) and lateral (sideways) movements.
