Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Social Services Director to lead and oversee our social service programs dedicated to supporting individuals within the nursing home. Responsibilities Lead the planning, development, and evaluation of social service programs tailored to individuals within a nursing home facility. Supervise and mentor social service staff, including program coordinators and case managers, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on excellence. Manage program budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure fiscal responsibility while aligning resources with organizational goals. Cultivate strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, clients, and families to enhance service delivery and community engagement. Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to social services and disability programs. Develop policies, procedures, and training materials to ensure consistent quality standards. Utilize data-driven approaches to monitor program outcomes, prepare reports, and implement continuous improvements. Coordinate technical projects and supervise program managers to ensure successful implementation of new initiatives or technology solutions. Qualifications Proven experience working with individuals within a nursing facility. Demonstrated leadership in social services administration with experience managing teams and supervising staff. Strong relationship management skills. Extensive administrative experience including budgeting, compliance oversight, and program development. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation purposes. Experience working with underserved communities; bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse populations effectively. Excellent written communication skills for preparing reports, policies, and client correspondence.
