Rate and Compensation The target hourly rate for the Policy & Government Relations Specialist is between $29.19 - $43.78; depending on qualifications Job Details Make an Impact Where Policy, Partnerships, and City Operations Come Together. As a Policy and Government Relations Specialist , you'll help keep the City informed, prepared, and connected. You'll track and analyze legislation, research emerging policy issues, coordinate with utility providers, elected officials, and community partners, and help develop materials that support the City's legislative priorities. This role also keeps the department's day-to-day operations moving. You'll coordinate meetings, prepare agenda items and supporting materials, process invoices, purchase orders, expense reports, and payments, assist with budget activities and Open Records requests, respond to inquiries, and help ensure important deadlines and processes stay on track.
