Job Description

Since 1963, Reach has grown to serve over 400 families and clients annually, supported by a passionate team of more than 40 staff members and an annual budget exceeding $1.5 million. Overview We are seeking an energetic and experienced Supported Employment Services Director to lead our employment programs for individuals with disabilities. This leadership role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by developing innovative employment initiatives, managing staff, and fostering strong relationships with community partners. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for social service work, exceptional management skills, and a commitment to empowering underserved communities through employment opportunities. Responsibilities Oversee the planning, development, and implementation of supported employment programs tailored to individuals with disabilities. Assure program performance is in accordance with all applicable federal, state, local, and agency laws/policies. Lead and supervise program staff, including social service professionals and employment specialists, ensuring high-quality service delivery. Coordinate staff back-up supports to assure continuity of services in event of staff illness, leave, and vacations. Manage relationships with community employers, vendors, and partner agencies to expand employment opportunities for clients. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and funding requirements across programs. Monitor program budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining program quality. Provide training and mentorship to staff on best practices in supported employment, behavioral health integration, and social services. Maintain accurate documentation, write reports, and communicate effectively with clients, families, and stakeholders. Experience Experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general within social services or related fields. Administrative expertise including program development, compliance monitoring, and report writing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes.
