Skilled LaborerEssential Function of the
Job:
This position assists the Public Works Director in garbage collection, mowing, brushing, snow removal and any other duties assigned by his/her immediate supervisor.

Applicant should be able to work with minimum supervision.

Knowledge of machinery maintenance is desirable.
Required Knowledge/Skills:
Must have knowledge of safe use of tools and equipment and be able to take written/verbal directions from the Public Works Director.

Ability to maintain good public relations.

Be familiar with
Material Safety Data SheetsQualifications:
High School Graduate or equivalent.

Must be able to lift eighty (80) pounds.

Commercial Driver's License BCD with air brake endorsement required within sixty (60) days of employment at the employee's expense.

Must be able to obtain water certification within six (6) months of employment at the village's expense.

Background in building or equipment maintenance desirable.

Have good communication skills.
