Purchasing Assistant Trail Gear - 2.4 Fresno, CA Job Details Full-time $16.90 - $18.50 an hour 8 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Accounting systems Microsoft Outlook Spreadsheets Basic math Filing Administrative experience High school diploma or GED Order fulfillment receiving Task prioritization Shipping and receiving inventory management Accounting support Editing Data analysis software Office experience Full Job Description This position provides support to the buyer to ensure that materials are ordered and received as scheduled and performs various department administrative functions Follows up on all purchase orders to ensure delivery dates are met. Develops and maintains various Excel spreadsheets to support quoting, negotiating, and buying decisions. Assists in gathering documents for new supplier and component setups. Coordinates deliveries and reviews inbound material receiving paperwork. Support quality resolution, expedite orders, and dispose of damaged and obsolete inventory, including completing supporting paperwork. Develops and maintains good supplier relationships. Communicates out-of-stock and at-risk information. Maintains supplier specification files. Request and maintain Product information, Quotation Data, and update BC as needed. Supports A/P with invoice discrepancies. Coordinates supplier chargebacks. Provide administrative support by creating and maintaining spreadsheets, graphs, and other analysis tools.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- One year of experience in general office work 4.
Skills Required:
- Excellent proofreading and organizational skills
Microsoft Office:
Excel, Word, Outlook- Accounting/manufacturing software; Microsoft Business Central is preferred
- Possess strong basic math skills
- Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to interact professionally with a wide variety of people and ability to manage multiple priorities
