Purchasing Clerk Kinetic Personnel Group, Inc. - 2.8 Huntington Beach, CA Job Details $23 - $25 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description We are seeking detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Clerk to support day-to-day purchasing activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position will assist with purchase orders, supplier communication, order tracking, procurement documentation, and ERP/MRP system transactions to help ensure materials, components, and services are available to support production schedules and customer requirements. Responsibilities Create, process, and maintain purchase orders in the company's ERP/MRP system. Communicate with suppliers regarding order acknowledgments, delivery dates, pricing, shortages, and other order-related matters. Monitor open purchase orders and follow up on late or delayed deliveries to help maintain production schedules. Track and update procurement records, supplier information, and purchasing documentation. Coordinate with production planning, inventory control, receiving, quality, and engineering teams. Review purchase requisitions for accuracy and completeness prior to processing. Assist with obtaining supplier quotations and maintaining accurate pricing records. Support supplier onboarding and required documentation. Ensure purchasing activities follow company procedures, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards. Maintain organized electronic and physical purchasing files. Generate and distribute procurement reports as requested. Assist with resolving invoice discrepancies and supplier-related issues. Perform other purchasing and supply chain duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous purchasing, procurement, supply chain, materials, or administrative experience preferred. Manufacturing experience preferred, particularly in aerospace, defense, electronics, precision manufacturing, or another regulated industry. Experience working with an ERP or MRP system preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and follow-up skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel. Ability to work effectively with suppliers and cross-functional internal teams. High school diploma or equivalent required. Pay rate-$23-$25 DOE KPG123
