PURCHASING / FLEET ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

With a commitment to excellence and innovation, we're growing our team and looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Administrative Assistant to support our procurement operations.Position Summary:
We're seeking an organized and proactive individual to assist our purchasing department in managing vendor relationships, tracking orders, and ensuring the timely delivery of electrical components and materials. This role is ideal for someone with a strong administrative background and an interest in supply chain processes within a technical or construction environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the purchasing, Equipment and FLEET department with day-to-day activities
- Assist with tracking calibrations of tools and arc flash suits
- Communicate with suppliers to track shipments, confirm lead times, and resolve issues
- Maintain inventory data and monitor stock levels
- Coordinate with internal departments (warehouse, project management, accounting)
- Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of administrative or purchasing experience, preferably in the electrical or construction field
- Knowledge of electrical parts and materials is a strong asset
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
