Job Description

At Ramco you would be part of a close-knit conservative team, working for a technologically advanced manufacturing company, selling metal roofing, and building materials As a Purchasing assistant you will be responsible for identifying suppliers, researching goods and services, processing purchase orders, and verifying delivered items for multiple company locations. The ideal candidate will be able to assess suppliers, products, and services - then ultimately negotiate the best possible deals for Ramco. This position will be adding to our growing inventory / purchasing team! Responsibilities Monitor stock levels Purchase supplies to ensure proper inventory level. Prepare and implement effective negotiation tactics Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance to terms of contracts Review supplies to ensure quality Keep updated records Skills Proven experience as a purchasing agent or relevant role Experience in negotiating prices and terms and conditions Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Outstanding organizational skills
