Shift:
Day Shift. 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position reports to our Purchasing Manager and is a key member of the LNK purchasing team.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Review and process departmental purchase requisitions daily. •Execute Purchase Order placement with suppliers and ensure term and conditions of purchase orders are met for materials procured. • Monitor open purchase orders to make sure the product is delivered on time to meet production requirements. Performs other duties as necessary and as assigned by manager. Heavy clerical and phone work. This position may cross train in reception as needed. Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word) Must possess excellent analytical, organizational and communicational skills Ability to function under minimal supervision. Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus. Strong communication skills in writing, and orally with keen attention to detail
Education and Experience:
3 years of administrative experience in a high-volume office required. Purchasing experience preferred.
Work Environment:
In person. There is no remote option for this role. Overtime may be required from time to time. Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work.
