Job Description
Artonomy, Inc. is a downtown-based art design company looking for a looking for a Purchasing Assistant to help manage incoming orders, materials, and supplies for our production team. This position will handle ordering, tracking, receiving, and organizing materials to make sure production has what it needs, when it needs it. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple tasks at once. Responsibilities Review and process incoming orders for accuracy and completeness. Create internal work orders based on approved specifications. Order and track materials and supplies. Communicate with vendors and follow up on deliveries. Maintain inventory records and assist with physical inventory counts. Enter and maintain information in company systems. Create purchase orders, order acknowledgements, and proforma invoices as needed. Help resolve issues with materials, invoices, deliveries, and receiving. Coordinate material returns and exchanges when needed. Research new materials, vendors, and services. Work closely with the production team to ensure materials are available Perform other duties as required. Requirements Strong organizational and communication skills. Good attention to detail. Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word. QuickBooks experience preferred. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
