Summary:
Under direction of department manager, maintains internal compliance procedures and produces a wide variety of correspondence, documents, and special projects assigned by management. Collaborates effectively with customers, suppliers, and NTI associates along with analyzing and developing solutions efficiently. Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains system cost information and supplier pricing.
- Assists in problem resolution activities involving customers and suppliers.
- Assists with source supply contracts with backup data.
- Manages RFQ process for new and existing parts.
- Maintains supplier relationships and contracts.
- Works within a team environment to achieve cost improvement.
- Maintains confidentiality while promoting a positive image in all communications.
- Tracks and logs in work using computer.
- Completes various forms.
- Verbally communicates information clearly to others.
- Operates office equipment such as copier, printer, fax, and computer.
- Some independent decision making.
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's or associate's degree in accounting or related discipline or equivalent experience
- Must be able to follow detailed instructions.
- Analytical proficiency for risk management and supplier selection.
- Ability to negotiate with suppliers
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work in teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of NTI policies and procedures
- Must be able to maintain confidential information
- Plexus knowledge is preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
Essential Job Functions:
The essential functions of this role are conducted in a typical office environment, including light exposure to the noise of office equipment. This role is performed in a sedentary environment featuring prolonged periods of sitting at a desk. This role will require the use of PPE while walking through the production facility on an occasional basis. This role features occasional light lifting of up to 10-15 pounds. This role requires the use of a personal computer, copier/scanning machine, and telephone.
