Buyer - Residential ConstructionPosition OverviewOur Buyer or Purchasing Agent is responsible for overseeing divisional purchasing by managing supplier bidding, awarding, and managing trade contracts for our Residential Construction group.

Key ResponsibilitiesOversee Bid Invitations; communicating award decisions and rejectionsNegotiate Price Adjustments, Bid Discrepancies and AnalysisEvaluation costs and profit potentialassist in managing Supplier and Contract Data, Rebate programs, model discounts, etc...Provide scope and contract updates efficientlyCommunicate with Project Management, Construction, and Sales/Design teamswork with Contracts to ensure all change orders are executedManage and Resolve conflicts with Trade PartnersQualifications3+ years as a Buyer or Purchasing AgentStrong knowledge of ground up construction for homebuildingExcellent project scheduling skills to manage timelines effectively.

Experience in vendor management and Bid ProcessStrong communication skills to manage teams and stakeholders.
