Job Description
Elite Executive Partners is hiring a Buyer for a well-established manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team where you'll play a key role in supporting production by ensuring materials and services are purchased efficiently, delivered on time, and within budget. Position & Benefits Full-time, on-site position Monday-Thursday | 6:00 AM-4:30 PM Occasional Fridays as business needs require Competitive pay (DOE) Benefits available including health, vision, dental insurance, PTO, retirement, life insurance, and more! What You'll Do Purchase materials, supplies, and services in accordance with company policies Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers Monitor lead times, freight costs, and product availability Issue purchase orders via email and phone Coordinate inventory needs with production and department managers Negotiate pricing, volume discounts, and favorable purchasing terms Evaluate vendors based on price, quality, reliability, and performance Follow up on backorders and expedite critical materials when needed Schedule deliveries for long lead-time items Maintain accurate purchasing records, pricing histories, and vendor information Communicate estimated delivery dates and material availability to production teams Assist with inventory-related issues to minimize production downtime Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 1-3 years of purchasing or buying experience required Knowledge of purchasing procedures and inventory management Strong negotiation and vendor relationship skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software and systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally Ability to access various areas of the manufacturing facility as needed If you're looking for an opportunity where your purchasing decisions directly impact production success and operational efficiency, apply today! #eli
