Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Medical Office Scheduler to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will coordinate patient appointments, manage scheduling workflows, and ensure seamless communication between patients, providers, and administrative staff. Responsibilities Schedule patient appointments efficiently across multiple providers using electronic health record (EHR). Confirm patient details, verify insurance information, and update medical records accurately within EMR/EHR systems. Manage appointment changes, cancellations, and follow-up scheduling to maintain smooth clinic flow. Provide exceptional patient service through phone communication, greeting visitors at the front desk, and ensuring a positive experience aligned with HIPAA regulations. Maintain organized medical records by filing documents electronically and physically while adhering to clinical confidentiality policies. Collaborate with clinical staff to review care plans and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant with healthcare standards. Requirements Proven experience in medical office administration or scheduling within a clinical setting; clinic or dental clinic experience is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems familiarity with electronic health records management is essential. Understanding of medical terminology and documentation review procedures. Exceptional customer service skills paired with phone etiquette and professional communication abilities. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Prior office experience in a healthcare setting is preferred; familiarity with clinical confidentiality policies is required.
