Position Summary The Home Care Scheduler is responsible for coordinating client and caregiver schedules, responding to scheduling changes and call-offs, identifying coverage needs, and maintaining accurate scheduling records. This position requires excellent communication, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm while managing changing priorities. Key Responsibilities Create, maintain, and update client and caregiver schedules Respond promptly to caregiver call-offs, client cancellations, and schedule changes Identify available caregivers and coordinate replacement coverage Monitor staffing levels and notify leadership of unresolved shortages or service concerns Communicate professionally with clients, families, caregivers, and CareMax leadership Maintain complete and accurate scheduling notes and records Coordinate closely with the Leadership Team, Operations Team, and other administrative staff Protect client and employee confidentiality Maintain proficiency in company systems such as WellSky, Zingage, CareAcademy, and communication platforms Complete other scheduling-related duties as assigned Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED At least two years of experience in scheduling, staffing, healthcare, home care, or customer service Strong computer and data-entry skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively Ability to handle confidential information appropriately Preferred Qualifications Previous home care scheduling experience Experience using WellSky Personal Care or similar scheduling software Familiarity with California non-medical home care operations Bilingual English/Spanish skills are helpful but not required Additional Benefits Flexible schedule Paid training Mileage reimbursement for eligible business-related travel Access to voluntary health, dental, vision, and life insurance plans Our Mission Statement Our CareMax mission is to remain the top prime choice for personal care assistance in the comfort of your home by providing you with a high-quality level of professionalism and excellent care. Our Caregivers At CareMax we carefully assess and meticulously screen our caregivers/home care aides in order to maintain the quality of care and professionalism that CareMax Senior Solutions provide. We carefully match our caregivers/home care aides with our clients based on the specialized care plan and the caregiving that the client needs. When hiring a caregiver/home care aides, they must have the following items below before meeting with a client, pass a TB test screening and provide a clearance pass a background check and provide a DOJ Live Scan clearance provide a valid CA Driver's License and current automobile insurance must be a registered Home Care Aide taken a comprehensive Caregiver Training (Initial and On-Going) provide other specialized training and certifications if any a pleasing personality and great social-skills
