Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive CFS Operations Associate to join our team. This role involves coordinating shipments, verifying warehouse inventory, and maintaining accurate cargo records. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound shipments, preparing necessary documentation, checking in drivers, and ensuring smooth communication with clients and internal teams. Responsibilities Coordinate shipment activities by monitoring inbound and outbound cargo movements to ensure timely processing. Verify warehouse inventory levels and accuracy through regular checks and data analysis using Excel. Maintain precise cargo and inventory records, updating spreadsheets and databases as needed. Prepare cargo-release documents to facilitate smooth clearance and dispatch processes. Check in drivers upon arrival, coordinate shipment segregation, labeling, and proper handling of cargo. Respond promptly to client inquiries, providing accurate information regarding shipment status and related services. Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless business operations and timely updates for management. Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including spreadsheets, for data entry, analysis, and reporting related to shipments and inventory management. Support overall warehouse operations by ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety standards. Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining accurate records. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and internal collaboration. Customer service orientation with the ability to respond professionally to client needs. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment. Basic understanding of business operations related to logistics and warehouse management. Analytical skills for spreadsheet management and data interpretation.
