Home Improvement Location:
Reseda, CA Schedule:
Sun-Thurs, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM; Friday, 9:00 AM-2:00
PM Position:
Full-Time, 100%
In-Office Base Salary:
$20-23/hr, depending on experience About the Role Tri Pros Remodeling is looking for a sharp, confident, and highly coachable Inside Sales / Appointment Setter to join our team in Reseda.
Your primary responsibility is simple:
turn homeowner leads into strong, qualified appointments for our sales team. These are not primarily random cold-call lists. We generate a steady flow of homeowners who have expressed interest in remodeling and home-improvement services through our advertising. You'll also work our existing pipeline, older leads, previous customers, follow-ups, and other opportunities already in our system. We don't want someone who simply puts appointments on a calendar. We want someone who can have a real conversation with a homeowner, understand what they're looking to accomplish, build rapport, overcome hesitation, and create an appointment that has a strong likelihood of actually taking place. What You'll Be Doing You'll spend a significant portion of your day on the phone. You'll be expected to: Make a minimum of approximately 150 outbound calls per day , with higher-volume days potentially exceeding 300 calls Respond quickly to fresh inbound leads Consistently follow up with leads who don't answer the first time Work fresh leads, existing opportunities, older leads, and previous customers Ask intelligent questions to understand the homeowner's project, needs, timeline, and situation Build trust and rapport quickly over the phone Handle common questions and objections confidently Schedule qualified in-home appointments for our sales team Maintain accurate notes, lead stages, follow-ups, and activity within our CRM Use modern calling, CRM, automation, and AI-assisted tools provided by the company Review calls and performance with company leadership Participate in role-playing, coaching, and ongoing training Continuously improve your conversations, follow-up strategy, and results A successful setter should consistently work toward generating 2-4+ strong appointments per day , depending on lead flow and pipeline conditions. Who We're Looking For We're much more interested in ability, attitude, communication skills, and coachability than the number of years on your résumé.
You should be:
Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls Experienced in phone-based sales, appointment setting, lead follow-up, or a similar role An excellent English speaker with strong verbal communication skills Confident speaking with homeowners and strangers Personable and capable of building rapport quickly Comfortable asking questions and taking control of a conversation Persistent without sounding pushy or robotic Organized and disciplined with follow-up Comfortable working with computers and learning new software Highly coachable and receptive to direct feedback Competitive and motivated by measurable performance Reliable and comfortable working 100% in-office Experience in construction, remodeling, home improvement, HVAC, roofing, solar, windows, kitchens, or another home-services industry is a strong plus, but it is not required. We will train the right person on the industry. What Makes This Position Different This isn't a massive call center where you're handed a script and left on your own. You'll work directly with the two founders of Tri Pros Remodeling and receive close, hands-on training and coaching. We're building our inside-sales operation and investing heavily in technology, systems, automation, training, and better ways of converting leads. That means you'll be expected to learn. Your calls will be reviewed. You'll receive feedback. You'll role-play. Your numbers will be measured. You'll be expected to implement what you learn and continuously get better. If that sounds uncomfortable, this probably isn't the right position. If you're competitive, coachable, enjoy talking to people, and like becoming extremely good at something measurable, you'll fit in well. Compensation & Growth Base salary is $20-23 per hour , depending on experience. As the company and inside-sales department grow, strong performers will have opportunities to take on greater responsibility, including potential advancement into positions such as: Senior Appointment Setter → Team Lead → Inside Sales Manager We're looking for someone who wants to grow with the department rather than simply clock in, make a few calls, and go home. Our Hiring Process Because communication is such an important part of this position, our hiring process focuses on more than a résumé. Qualified applicants should expect a short initial screening followed by a brief phone/voice evaluation and interview. We want to hear how you communicate, how you think on your feet, and how you respond to coaching.
