Job Description
Your specific responsibilities include:
Maintain warehouse organization and oversee inventory control of consumable items across four designated LCLS locations. Manage the receipt and processing of incoming packages for all LCLS staff, including purchased items, user equipment, and samples. Responsibilities include item check-in, verification against requests, and accurate documentation from scanning through proper tagging and labeling. Regular handling of materials using equipment such as pushcarts or pallet jacks is required. Prepare and submit requisition requests in coordination with SLAC Procurement. Coordinate and execute domestic and international shipping for staff and user groups, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and procedures. To be successful in this position you will bring: High school diploma and four years of administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of inventory management. Demonstrated success in following through and completing projects. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to take initiative and assume ownership of projects. Advanced computer skills and experience with office software and email applications. Ability to routinely and independently exercise sound judgment in decision¿making. Strong analytical skills and excellent judgment. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Regular Continuing The expected pay range for this position is $39.20 - $45.56 per hour . SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory/Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage the university reasonably expects to pay for a position upon hire. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
