Responsibilities Receive and manage inbound non-emergency calls Collect and accurately document caller and trip information Schedule same-day and future transportation requests Assign and dispatch trips to drivers in real time using dispatch software Monitor trips and adjust schedules as needed Prioritize calls based on urgency and service needs Communicate effectively with drivers and internal teams Ensure all rides are assigned promptly and accurately Maintain high standards of customer service and compliance Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous experience as a dispatcher, scheduler, or similar role preferred Previous experience in Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) is highly preferred Ability to handle a high volume of phone calls Strong typing and data entry skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
