This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with purchasing, production scheduling, or manufacturing experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Job Summary As a Purchaser/Scheduler, you will coordinate production schedules, purchase raw materials from approved vendors, maintain inventory levels, and ensure production orders remain on schedule. You will work closely with production, customer service, shipping, and vendors to support daily manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Review production orders and job tickets for accuracy. Purchase raw materials from approved vendors. Coordinate production schedules and adjust priorities as needed. Verify incoming material receipts and maintain inventory records. Monitor tooling, ink, and production materials to ensure availability. Process return-to-vendor documentation for non-conforming materials. Communicate with vendors, supervisors, shipping, and customer service. Attend daily production meetings and assist with production planning. Perform inventory reconciliation and other production support duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework preferred). 1+ year of purchasing, scheduling, manufacturing, or corrugated packaging experience preferred. Strong math, computer, and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities. ERP or production scheduling software experience (Amtech or similar) is a plus. Willingness to learn industry-specific products and processes.
