Job Description

Certified Pilates Instructor (Operations Coordinator Position) Ironhorse Physical Therapy & Pilates Inc. - 4.7 San Ramon, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $45 - $65 an hour 22 hours ago Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Flexible schedule Qualifications Pilates instruction Anatomy knowledge Pilates Organizational skills Body mechanics Teaching Social media communication Full Job Description Do you have a natural way with people and love to help people move and feel better using your skills as a Pilates Instructor? If you're an organized person who is looking for a place who appreciates and rewards good work…then you are someone who may be perfect for the position we have available! We are a Physical Therapy and Pilates/Wellness practice looking for an energetic Certified Pilates Instructor who is a go-getter and maybe wants to grow into a Pilates Director role to oversee and manage the Pilates/Wellness side of our practice. We take people who are "broken" and in pain and help them transform their lives by guiding them through their rehab and then back to fitness and wellness. You would initially start as a part-time Pilates Instructor. As the position grows and evolves into Director position (if that's what you want, it's NOT required), you will have a flexible schedule working approximately 20 hours/week and split your time teaching classes, semi-private sessions, privates sessions, and attending bi-monthly staff training/meetings. Must be willing to teach occasional evenings to cover vacation as well as several morning classes. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills as you will be discussing client needs with the Physical Therapists and managing/scheduling the clients. Rehab experience is a plus but not necessary as we are willing to train the right person. Continuing education, quality instruction and customer service are important core values in our company. You must be comfortable with being videotaped doing exercises or teaching on social media as this is a common way that we educate the public about what we do. Qualifications Certified Pilates Instructor with a strong background in group fitness and teaching. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics to ensure safe and effective instruction Excellent organizational and communication skills to foster a positive class environment. Familiarity with personal training and health club operations is a plus. This is a great opportunity for an instructor who wants growth potential and would like to learn and practice Pilates for Rehab as well as for fitness. It is also possible for this to become a full-time position for the right candidate.
