In this role, you will be the primary driver of the multi-year execution plans required to deliver innovative products for the Aerospace and Defense industry. You will operate with a high degree of independence, coordinating across multiple work centers to integrate all activities into the Program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and ensuring the schedule remains accurate and actionable. The Finance Strategic Capabilities Unit delivers the expertise and business acumen to increase value across the enterprise by providing actionable information with recommendations and opportunities to drive sustainable business growth.
What You'll Do:
Program Planning & Execution:
Plan Development:
Analyze program contracts, statements of work, and flow-down requirements to develop and communicate comprehensive execution plans to the program team.
Baseline Management:
Lead the development and implementation of program baselines that satisfy both internal BAE standards and external customer requirements.
Schedule Maintenance:
Own the maintenance of the IMS, ensuring all updates from Control Account Managers (CAMs) are accurately captured and integrated.
Analytical Insight & Reporting:
Performance Analysis:
Provide essential program visibility through critical path analysis, variance-to-baseline reporting, and forward-looking "look-ahead" reports.
Data-Driven Reporting:
Develop and present high-quality schedule reporting for both customer and internal management reviews.
Trend Identification:
Analyze and interpret scheduling patterns and trends to proactively identify risks and develop necessary recovery schedules.
Collaborative Integration:
Resource Coordination:
Partner with CAMs and Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads to define and align resource needs with the program schedule.
Cross-Functional Alignment:
Work closely with PMs, Responsible Engineers, and Manufacturing Engineers to ensure scheduled work is communicated effectively across the organization.
Quality Assurance:
Periodically audit program schedules to ensure adherence to company standards and industry best practices.
Proposal Support:
Contribute to the growth of the business by developing schedules for new business proposals. Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule. Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment. Perform other duties as necessary.
On-Site Work Environment:
This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's degree plus 4 or more years related experience. Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education. Professional experience in program planning or scheduling. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical schedule data to stakeholders. Proven ability to work within a team setting and coordinate group initiatives to successful completion. Proficiency in MS Project and Excel, along with the broader MS Office Suite. Solid understanding of business principles, scheduling concepts, and industry standards. #

Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range:
$82779 - $140723 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
