Full Job Description Description:
Pilatus is hiring a Production Scheduler to join our team in Broomfield, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and coordinating the integrated production schedule to support aircraft completions, modifications, maintenance activities, and component manufacturing. You will work closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program Management to optimize resource utilization, identify schedule risks, and ensure on-time delivery. Requirements:
Skills/Qualifications Develops, maintains, and manages detailed production schedules in alignment with the master aircraft delivery schedule and company objectives Analyzes aircraft specifications, project requirements, labor availability, and resource capacity to establish realistic production plans and schedules Coordinates workflow and schedule activities across multiple departments including Seating, Fabrication, Pre-Assembly, Installation, Paint, Avionics, Structures, Aircraft Maintenance, and Component Repair Evaluates production capacity, labor loading, and departmental constraints to identify bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions Monitors work-in-process, schedule adherence, and milestone completion to ensure production targets and customer delivery commitments are achieved Works closely with department leaders to assess progress, identify risks, and develop recovery plans for schedule disruptions Supports long-range capacity planning by analyzing forecasted workload, labor requirements, and facility utilization Maintains schedule accuracy within the production planning system Develops and publishes schedule performance metrics, reports, and analyses for management review Facilitates production scheduling meetings and communicates priorities, constraints, and schedule impacts across the organization Other Duties/Responsibilities Supports production priority management and cross-functional coordination activities Assists with implementation and continuous improvement of production planning and scheduling systems Creates weekly and monthly schedule performance reports and management dashboards Performs other related duties, special projects, and assignments as required Skills/Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Aviation Management, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of three (3) years of production planning, scheduling, manufacturing operations, or project scheduling experience; aerospace or aviation experience preferred Strong understanding of production scheduling principles, capacity planning, resource loading, and workflow management Familiarity with aircraft manufacturing, maintenance, completions, or FAA-regulated environments preferred Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate activities across multiple departments Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a high level of attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project Experience with ERP/MRP and production scheduling systems; familiarity with Quantum, Jira, SharePoint, and PowerBI (preferred) Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and multiple concurrent projects What We Offer 11 paid holidays a year, plus 15 days of paid vacation time, and 6 days of paid sick/personal time to start with an increase to 20 days of paid vacation time after 5 years with Pilatus 90% of medical, dental, and vision premiums paid for single coverage and 80% for family coverage, averaging $9,600 annually Monthly health savings account (HSA) contributions totaling $2, 250 for single coverage and $3, 000 for family coverage annually 401(k) retirement plan matching up to 6% Life and long-term disability insurance premiums paid in full Tuition assistance available annually after the first year The salary range for this position is $69,200 - $94,018 per year depending on experience. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
