Procedure Scheduler (Entry-Level Healthcare Opportunity) Lakewood, CO (On-site) Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Contract-to-Hire Start Your Career in Healthcare Administration Looking to break into the healthcare industry? This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity to join a growing cardiovascular team in a brand-new, modern office setting in Lakewood. You'll gain hands-on experience, receive structured training, and build a long-term career in healthcare operations. What You'll Do As a Procedure Scheduler, you'll play a critical role in coordinating life-changing cardiovascular procedures and ensuring a seamless experience for patients and providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule a wide range of cardiovascular procedures and lab appointments Manage calendars using Outlook and Excel to ensure efficient workflow Confirm appointments and provide clear instructions to patients Verify patient demographics and insurance information Communicate closely with physicians and catheterization lab staff Maintain accurate records and stay highly organized across systems Deliver compassionate, professional support to patients and internal teamsWhat We're Looking For Must-Have Qualifications:
At least 6 months of professional experience (internships count) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Experience using Outlook and calendar management tools Working knowledge of Excel (filtering, sorting, multiple tabs) Ability to multitask across systems with strong typing skills Excellent listening skills and ability to take feedback positively Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently Preferred (Nice to Have): Exposure to healthcare or medical office environments Familiarity with medical terminology or patient records Customer service or call center experience Work Environment Team of experienced schedulers who collaborate closely Fast-paced, detail-oriented environment Emphasis on professionalism, accountability, and teamwork Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Lakewood, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
