Bethel, Connecticut job type: Contract salary: $25.02 - 35.00 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: High School responsibilities: Manage shop floor scheduling and direct daily WIP workflow across factory cells to level load work orders and maximize material flow.

Align daily plant activities with the Master Production Schedule, re-sequencing or re-routing orders to minimize constraints and deviations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, quality, engineering, and purchasing to ensure contract compliance and customer on-time delivery.

Communicate updates with customer service, expedite order shortages with buyers, and escalate unresolved execution issues to Network Schedulers.

Support plant continuous improvement initiatives and prepare supply chain management reports and correspondence.

qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of experience in supply chain or operations (Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in manufacturing preferred). Strong knowledge of materials management, lean manufacturing concepts, and MRP/ERP systems, along with solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Proven analytical, communication, and change management skills with the ability to drive results in a collaborative team environment.
