This role ensures the campus runs smoothly by managing daily guest logistics, answering inquiries, and executing critical administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, calm multi-tasker who thrives in a fast paced environment and communicates warmly with students, parents and staff.
Primary Responsibilities Greet visitors:
Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, guests and vendors while enforcing school security check-in protocols.
Manage Communications:
Answer multi-line phone calls, direct inquiries to the appropriate staff, and manage the general school email account.
Support families:
Assist parents with student sign-ins, early dismissals, registrations and general school information. Daily School Logistics and Staff Support Coordinate substitute teachers: Manage the morning scramble by identifying teacher absences, assigning substitute coverage, and welcoming guest teachers.
Track student attendance:
Monitor daily attendance records, contact families regarding unexcused absences.
Distribute mail and supplies:
Sort incoming and outgoing mail, manage deliveries and keep the main office neat and organized Administrative Support Serve as a flexible resource to assist Advancement and Admissions when needed during peak workloads
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
1-3 years of experience in an administrative, customer services or front office role (school environment preferred)
Education:
High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus
Tech Savvy:
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel), Google Workspace and willingness to learn our school database
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service mindset
Professional Demeanor:
Present a professional demeanor and calm presence during chaotic front-office moments
