Full Job Description Scheduler/Unit Clerk Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduler/Unit Clerk to join our team at Lord Chamberlain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a part of Ryders Health, a family-owned management company for independent skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Centers. As a Scheduler/Unit Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our nursing staff, patients, and families. Key Responsibilities:
Schedule patient appointments, treatments, and testing in a timely and efficient manner Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure smooth operations on the unit Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation Provide administrative support to the nursing staff, including answering phones, responding to emails, and performing other clerical tasks Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and satisfaction
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a scheduling or unit clerk role, is preferred Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in records and documentation
