Operations Associate About This Role... The Operations Associate plays a critical hands-on role supporting daily manufacturing, warehouse, and fulfillment activities for both Sunesta and Gutter Helmet operations. This position helps ensure products are built, assembled, shipped, and delivered efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. By supporting production workflows, inventory accuracy, and customer order fulfillment, this role directly contributes to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, safety focused, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You'll Do Perform a variety of production, manufacturing, and assembly activities to support daily operations. Cut fabric and other materials according to production specifications and quality requirements. Operate sewing equipment and production machinery to produce and assemble finished products. Prepare products for shipment by packaging, labeling, wrapping, and staging finished goods. Complete shipping and receiving activities, including loading/unloading materials and verifying inventory. Maintain inventory accuracy by organizing materials, conducting inventory counts, and reporting discrepancies. Safely operate forklifts, power tools, and other production equipment while following all safety procedures. Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met and maintain clean, organized work areas. What Success Looks Like In your first year, you will: Consistently meet production, quality, and safety expectations. Develop proficiency across multiple production, assembly, and warehouse functions. Maintain accurate inventory and support efficient material flow throughout operations. Contribute to on-time shipment of customer orders and fulfillment objectives. Serve as a reliable and collaborative team member who supports operational goals and continuous improvement efforts. What You'll Bring Must-Haves High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment, power tools, and material handling equipment. Previous experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, assembly, shipping/receiving, or related environments preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work in a physically demanding environment, and stand for extended periods. Nice-to-Haves Forklift certification or experience operating powered industrial equipment. Experience with inventory management, cycle counting, or warehouse systems. Experience operating sewing equipment or working with fabric-based manufacturing processes. Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or quality inspection practices. Location, Travel and Compensation Onsite manufacturing position. Travel not required.
