Responsibilities:
- Serve as the welcoming face of the Career Center.
- Answer incoming phone calls, respond to general inquiries, and guide guests to the appropriate campus resources or staff members.
- Perform administrative tasks such as copying, scanning, filing, managing mail, preparing event materials, and tracking inventory.
- Provide operational support for campus events, career fairs, workshops, and employer visits, including setup and participant check-in.
- Help maintain platforms, systems, and room calendars using Microsoft 365, Canva, and career software like Handshake. ...
- Support specialized campus initiatives, including managing donation intake and inventory for the campus Career Closet.
Working hours:
8:30 AM- 4:30
PM Skills:
- Prior administrative, customer service, retail, hospitality, or leadership experience.
- Experience in a college, non-profit, or school-services setting is a bonus!
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft 365; familiarity with tools like Handshake, Canva, or Jotform is preferred.
Education:
Associate Experience:
1-4 yearsQualifications:
- Associate degree required (Bachelor?s degree preferred).
- Great organization, excellent communication, and a caring, customer-focused mindset.
- A reliable work ethic and an open-minded approach to collaborating with diverse community members.
- Ability to move around campus event spaces and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
