Spherion is looking for an open-minded, detail-oriented Career Center Program Assistant in Leesburg, FL. This temporary assignment runs from September 8 through mid-November and offers a predictable weekday schedule with weekends off-making it the perfect opportunity to open the door to a college campus career!
Pay Rate:
$19.00

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the welcoming face of the Career Center.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, respond to general inquiries, and guide guests to the appropriate campus resources or staff members.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as copying, scanning, filing, managing mail, preparing event materials, and tracking inventory.
  • Provide operational support for campus events, career fairs, workshops, and employer visits, including setup and participant check-in.
  • Help maintain platforms, systems, and room calendars using Microsoft 365, Canva, and career software like Handshake. ...
  • Support specialized campus initiatives, including managing donation intake and inventory for the campus Career Closet.

PM Skills:
  • Prior administrative, customer service, retail, hospitality, or leadership experience.
  • Experience in a college, non-profit, or school-services setting is a bonus!
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft 365; familiarity with tools like Handshake, Canva, or Jotform is preferred.
Education:
Associate Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree required (Bachelor?s degree preferred).
  • Great organization, excellent communication, and a caring, customer-focused mindset.
  • A reliable work ethic and an open-minded approach to collaborating with diverse community members.
  • Ability to move around campus event spaces and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
