12+ Month Contract (Strong possibility of extension and/or direct hire based on performance) We're seeking a Production Control Specialist II/III to support high-volume manufacturing operations by driving work order execution, reducing backlog, maintaining ERP/MRP data integrity, and ensuring production schedules stay on track. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who thrive in fast-paced manufacturing environments and enjoy solving operational challenges, streamlining processes, and collaborating across multiple teams. What You'll Do ? Drive work order backlog reduction and closure activities ? Maintain ERP/MRP data integrity and transaction accuracy ? Expedite critical production jobs and resolve manufacturing bottlenecks ? Coordinate with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Planning teams ? Track and communicate daily production status and priorities ? Support work centers to ensure schedule adherence and workflow continuity ? Identify recurring constraints and escalate process improvement opportunities What We're Looking For ? Experience in Production Control, Production Planning, Scheduling, Manufacturing Operations, or Material Planning ? Hands-on ERP/MRP experience (SAP, Costpoint, Oracle, or similar systems) ? Experience managing work orders and production schedules ? Strong problem-solving and organizational skills ? Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment ? Willingness to support overtime or alternate shifts when required Preferred Qualifications ? Backlog remediation or data cleanup experience ? Production expediting experience ? Microsoft Project and advanced Excel skills ? Jira or workflow management tools experience ?
