Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized and friendly Medical Office Scheduler to join our team. If you are bilingual in English and Spanish, we highly encourage you to apply!
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule patient appointments, surgeries, and follow-up visits efficiently and accurately. Manage and coordinate the physician's calendar to optimize patient flow and minimize wait times. Confirm patient appointments and provide necessary instructions for upcoming visits. Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service both in person and over the phone. Verify patient insurance information and ensure all necessary documentation is completed prior to appointments. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth operations and effective communication. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in medical office administration is a plus. Previous experience in a medical office scheduling or administrative role preferred. Proficiency in scheduling software and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes.
