This role acts as a primary point of contact for patients, requiring excellent communication, organizational skills, and a strong understanding of medical office operations. Key Responsibilities

Appointment Management:

Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments via phone, email, and in-person requests while optimizing provider schedules.

•

Patient Registration:

Collect and verify accurate patient demographic, insurance, and medical history information during the scheduling process.

•

Communication:

Serve as a professional liaison between patients, medical staff, and providers. Answer incoming calls, address patient inquiries, and provide clear instructions regarding preparation for appointments.

•

Data Entry:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

•

Workflow Coordination:

Monitor daily schedules to identify potential conflicts and communicate changes to the clinical team promptly.

•

Compliance:

Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and internal privacy policies regarding patient health information. Qualifications

•

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required

•

Experience:

Previous experience in a medical office or high-volume scheduling environment is highly desired.

•

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and standard office software (Microsoft Office, email, scheduling platforms).

•

Communication:

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional, empathetic, and patient-centered approach.

Detail:

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
