The primary duties of this position include responsibilities for answering a high volume of calls coming into the Medical Practice to schedule appointments and various other reasons. Cross training for Front Desk Receptionist include greeting patients, check in/check out, collecting payment, scheduling and confirming patient appointments. This position is an excellent opportunity to enhance skills with advancement opportunities. The ideal candidate has strong customer service and a willingness to perform administrative tasks to support the patient and clinic. Adheres to all federal, state and local laws and regulations related to healthcare and the Medical Practice including Safety, Infection Control, HIPAA and Compliance Program. Qualifications and Skills 2 years experience working in a related medical clinic position is required, medical Call Center experience is also a plus EMR experience and basic knowledge of Medical Terminology and healthcare regulations Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures of a medical clinic Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word) Well organized and detail oriented Excellent Customer Service skills, Interpersonal skills and excellent Communication skills (oral and written) Self motivated team player with analytical, technical and problem solving skills Possess high professional demeanor Maintain 100% confidentiality relating to all patients, corporate, financial and proprietary information Ability to collaborate with others Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment Bilingual preferred.
