Job Description

We're seeking a detail-oriented and organized Centralized Nurse Scheduler to coordinate nursing schedules for 2 skilled nursing facilities: Calhoun Crossing and Cartersville Crossing. This role will help ensure appropriate staffing coverage, communicate with Care Team Members about open shifts, track attendance, and work closely with facility leadership to address scheduling needs. The ideal candidate will have previous scheduling experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to stay organized while supporting multiple locations. Key Responsibilities:
Develops and posts work schedules in a timely manner or accordance with company policy to ensure appropriate staffing needs and requirements are met. Builds relationships and trust to be able to make necessary contacts with care team members for open shifts and modifies schedule when required. Maintains a current listing of care team member contact numbers for call-in Coordinates and obtains approval for any time off requests with the Director of Nursing Notifies the Executive Director and Director of Nursing of any potential short or critical staffing levels. Manages attendance records, perfect attendance or other attendance related special pay programs the company may provide; and reports any necessary information to HR/Payroll to ensure time records are accurately captured. Qualifications Certified in the state as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Qualified Medication Assistant, required. At least 6 months experience scheduling Certified Nursing Assistants, Qualified Medication Assistants, and/or Nurses. Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage scheduling needs across 2 facilities. A minimum of a high school education or high school equivalent diploma is preferred. During critical staffing needs, the Nurse Scheduler may be required to work in a CNA or QMA capacity and must meet the requirements of that position.
