Position Overview Blue Streak Couriers is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused Scheduler to support our Large Package Box Truck division. This role is responsible for coordinating daily delivery schedules, communicating directly with customers and drivers, and ensuring accurate execution from scheduling through billing. This position plays a critical role in maintaining service reliability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The Scheduler must be able to manage multiple moving parts, communicate clearly, and make real-time decisions in a fast-paced environment. This role requires consistent availability Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Opportunity This is not a passive, sit-back type of role. You are at the center of daily operations. You will be responsible for keeping deliveries on track, solving problems as they happen, and ensuring both customers and drivers are supported throughout the day. Every decision you make directly impacts service levels, customer relationships, and overall operational performance. What You'll Do Coordinate and Execute Scheduling Build and manage daily delivery schedules for drivers Assign routes efficiently to meet customer expectations and operational needs Adjust schedules in real-time based on changes, delays, or issues Communicate with Customers and Drivers Confirm delivery details with customers and address any changes or concerns Provide clear, timely communication to drivers regarding assignments and updates Respond to phone calls and emails professionally and efficiently Monitor and Manage Operations Track deliveries and driver progress throughout the day Identify and resolve issues proactively before they escalate Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time Ensure Accuracy and Accountability Verify order details, delivery completion, and billing accuracy Maintain detailed and organized records of daily operations Ensure compliance with company procedures and customer requirements Support Continuous Improvement Work with operations leadership to improve scheduling efficiency Identify patterns, issues, or opportunities to improve performance Contribute to a team environment focused on accountability and results What You Bring Organization and Attention to Detail You can manage multiple tasks without losing track of important details You understand that accuracy is critical in scheduling and billing You take pride in keeping things organized and running smoothly Communication and Professionalism You communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally You can handle conversations with customers, drivers, and internal teams effectively You remain composed under pressure Problem Solving and Ownership You take initiative to solve problems rather than waiting for direction You stay calm and focused when issues arise You take ownership of outcomes and follow through Work Ethic and Reliability You show up consistently and are ready to perform You can be counted on to handle responsibilities without constant oversight You stay engaged throughout the day, even when things get busy Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, scheduling, logistics, or similar role Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment Bonus (Not Required) Experience in logistics, transportation, or dispatching Familiarity with scheduling or route management software This role is critical to our operation, and we depend on every team member to stay organized, communicate effectively, and perform at a high level every day.
