full-time Position Overview We are seeking a Project Controls Specialist that currently lives in the ATLANTA area with at lea st 5 years of experien ce developing and maintaini ng project schedul es usi ng Primavera P6 f or mission-critical construction projec ts (or similar large-scale projects). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experien ce developing, updating, and analyzing project schedules using Primavera P6, and be capable of working collaboratively with engineers, field personnel, and project stakeholders to ensure alignment and schedule integrity. Key Responsibilities Develop, update, and maintain detai led Primavera P6 construction schedu les for data center construction projects Review engineering draw in gs, procurement milest ones, and construction work pl ans to develop accurate activity lo Work w ith project mana ge rs, engin eers, and field te ams to gather progress updates and forecast schedule performance Cond uct schedule health ch ec ks, critical path anal ysis, and resource evaluations Identify schedule risks, float erosion, and delays, and propose mitigation strategies Support development of what-if scenar ios and recovery pl ans when deviations occur Generate and distribute schedule repor ts, look-ahead sched ules, and key milestone tracking for stakeholder communication Ensure alignment with project execution strategy, permitting requirements, and utility operational constraints Assist in developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to align with construction progress Support procurement efforts and track material deliveries to maintain project timelines Participate in project meetings, providing input and documentation. Generate weekly progress reports and distribute to stakeholders Qualifications 5+ years of experience developing project sched ules for mission-critical construction projects (data centers, industrial facilities, or similar complex environments) Proficien t in Primavera P6 (required) Strong knowledg e of construction sched ul ing, drawings r eview, and subcontractor coordination Strong understanding of construction sequencing, project phasing, and utility permitting/energization milestones Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, one-lines, and civil plans Ability to work with cross-functional teams in engineering, procurement, and construction Solid understandin g of critical path method ol ogy, earned value, and schedule risk principles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and experience with reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is a plus Strong communication, time management, and analytical skills PMP or PSP certification (preferred) Immediate need. Long-term contract. This role will be working on site just West of the city of Atlanta, GA. You must currently live in Atlanta, GA for this role.
