Location Statesboro Campus - Statesboro, GA Department Information Office of Annual Giving Job Summary The Student Assistant will support the Office of Annual Giving as an Operations Assistant on the Statesboro Campus beginning Fall 2026. Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period. Responsibilities
Collects data for use in Annual Giving projects
Creates forms, performs maintenance and monitors results on our online giving platform, GiveCampus
Communicates with potential student donors and members of the campus community
Coordinates with vendors on mail projects to donors
Consults on and contributes to content developed for student audiences
Oversees the departmental email account to ensure inquiries are fielded quickly and completely
Partners with other University Advancement teams such as Alumni Relations, Advancement Services, Donor Relations, and Development
Reports to the Annual Giving Coordinator weekly and attending monthly Annual Giving Huddles Shift Specifics Up to 19 hours per week
Flexible with schedule of availability
Shifts available Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Required Qualifications Educational Requirements Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.
