Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Scheduling Specialist works, under the direct supervision and in close collaboration with the Call Center Manager (CCM). This position is responsible answering all incoming calls providing exceptional customer service.

This position will schedule patients for all across all clinics within the health center. Scheduler will use their knowledge and scheduling tools to meet the patients appointment needs in an accurate and timely manner.

This position will perform outreach scheduling calls as assigned and when call volume is low. Outreach is done to ensure patients are following up on chronic conditions, preventative services and connecting with their assigned PCP as identified by the clinical teams.

This position is responsible for assisting patients in preparing to connect electronically for their upcoming telehealth appointment. Specialist will reach out to patients and assess their ability to connect with MEND. Specialist will educate patient on connection process and connect with them on test visit connections prior to their scheduled appointment. This position actively participates in special activities of the Department.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
1. High School Diploma or equivalent required2. Experience using a practice management system required3. A minimum of one (1) year experience working in a medical setting preferred An Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer
