A Day in the Life of a Caregiver Scheduler As our Staffing Coordinator, you are the operational heartbeat of our agency. Like a daily puzzle master, you will connect local seniors with our dedicated caregiving staff across Quad cities and surrounding areas.
Your daily responsibilities include:
Building Master Schedules:
Create, maintain, and optimize weekly shift schedules using specialized home care software (WellSky).
Solving Shift Coverage:
Proactively manage daily shift changes, open client requests, and last-minute caregiver call-offs.
Matching Caregivers & Clients:
Select caregiver-client pairings based on skill requirements, location, availability, and personality compatibility.
Building Caregiver Relationships:
Serve as the primary point of contact for care staff regarding schedule updates, shift confirmations, and availability updates.
Managing Logistics:
Keep client care continuous while optimizing shift routes to limit commute times and minimize unauthorized overtime.
Shared On-Call Support:
Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation with team support and additional stipend pay.
Team Collaboration:
Partner with Recruiting to flag immediate staffing needs and work with our Client Care Coordinator to onboard new clients smoothly.
What We Are Looking For Experience:
1+ years in scheduling, staffing, medical reception, restaurant/hotel management, logistics dispatching, or fast-paced customer service (Home care software experience like WellSky/ClearCare is a plus!).
Problem Solvers:
Ability to stay calm, friendly, and resourceful under pressure when handling last-minute schedule changes.
Strong Communicators:
Excellent phone manner and clear, professional written/verbal communication skills.
Tech-Savvy:
Comfortable navigating scheduling databases, multi-line phones, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
Dependable:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Experience:
