Manufacturing Process Specialist:
This position involves assisting, coordinating, and monitoring all production control processes to support manufacturing operations. Job Duties & Responsibilities of the
Manufacturing Process Specialist:
Evaluate and determine the production processes necessary for manufacturing metal parts. Create routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation, and labor estimates for current operations or new parts. Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing to address Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and see them through to completion. Implement lean manufacturing techniques for continuous improvement in manufacturing quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Identify opportunities for product enhancements or cost reductions and make necessary changes using knowledge of fabrication processes and assembly methods. Education & Experience Requirements of the
Manufacturing Process Specialist:
Bachelor's Degree preferred or relevant experience 5 years experience in manufacturing including metal fabrication, machining, weld and assembly is required. Must have knowledge of manufacturing process equipment and proficiency in reading blueprints. Experience with project management, lean/six sigma, and manufacturing software is a plus. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SolidWorks, and Creo is preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills are essential for handling multiple priorities effectively.
