Utilize transportation management systems such as Toro Transportation Management and Vehicle Dispatch Software to plan routes efficiently. Communicate clearly with drivers via multi-line phone systems, providing instructions, updates, and support throughout their shifts. Manage GPS and GIS tools to monitor vehicle locations, optimize routes, and troubleshoot logistical issues in real-time. Maintain accurate data entry of shipment details, delivery schedules, and driver logs using Microsoft Office and internal databases like SyteLine. Ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations by monitoring driver hours, vehicle conditions, and safety protocols. Collaborate with supply chain teams to coordinate freight movements, track shipments, and resolve scheduling conflicts promptly. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries via phone communication with professionalism and courtesy. Support internal communication efforts by relaying critical information swiftly across departments to maintain operational momentum. Skills Strong knowledge of road transportation operations, logistics, and transportation planning principles. Proficiency in transportation management systems such as Toro Transportation Management and vehicle dispatch software. Experience with

GPS, GIS

technology, and fleet management tools to enhance route efficiency. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—and phone etiquette for professional interactions. Ability to handle multiple phone lines simultaneously using multi-line phone systems while maintaining composure under pressure. Data entry expertise with high accuracy using Microsoft Office programs like Excel and Word. Knowledge of DOT regulations related to driver hours of service, safety standards, and vehicle inspections.
