Job Description

Scheduler - 1 st Shift Kipp, KS Great Plains Manufacturing is seeking a Scheduler to join our team at our facility in Kipp, KS. The Scheduler develops and analyzes lists of items required to manufacture products and relays scheduling information to the production team. This role works Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with overtime on Fridays, as required. This position reports directly to the Material Control Manager.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Expedite components and part shortages daily Data entry of daily production, stock transfers and purchasing receivers Administer cycle count, supply/demand, pick tickets Notify departments to change production priority and sequence as required by production Help maintain accurate inventory Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed safety and protective equipment. Other duties may be assigned that require additional qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
AS400 experience is strongly preferred Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook Must have strong verbal and written communication skills Willing to take on new challenges and meet strict deadlines Product knowledge is helpful Attention to detail, accuracy, and neatness is a must Great Plains Manufacturing, headquartered in Salina, KS, is a proud subsidiary of Kubota with more than 50 years as a Kansas leader in the design, engineering and manufacturing of agricultural implements, including seeding, tillage, and landscaping equipment.
